Light & Building is coming. Every two years the lighting industry meets in Frankfurt to exhibit the new both, indoor and outdoor, last solutions, tendencies and designs.
Innovation and research in LED technology will be, ones again, the trending topic of the Fair.
There are 2.100 exhibitors from more than 50 countries. Spanish companies are one of the top references and more than 100 brands will show the last on the lighting field.
In one side we will present the traditional big lighting companies like LUXIONA (Troll), SIMON, INDAL or ROS.
If we take a look to indoor lights, more decorative, the top reference VIBIA presents infinite LED applications and ESTILUZ is reaching a recognition thanks to a classical but trendy design to approach the light to users.

On the recent editions FARO Barcelona is introducing new items to link design to the new users needs. In this direction the new bathroom collection designed by Stimulo will be on the market soon. If we are talking about technical light, SAGITARIO Lighting, is moving one step ahead to optimize LED solutions for specific users like museums, hotels and restaurants.

We will visit ROVASI, LAMP, MARSET and MODISS.

In another range of products, Stimulo has been developing and engineering a new rang of LED technical solutions for the successful Barcelona brand FONTINI ; constantly innovation to add value to all these items around the house.

This week we have attended to a seminar on “Online social media as a publicity platform”, a growing world and completely different to our cultural model.

The event has been organized by Chamber of Commerce in South China in its efforts to bring the Spanish and European companies to Chinese manufacturers more export oriented. Internet is a basic tool for companies like Stimulo who need more presence in an environment as competitive as the Chinese.

The seminar was imparted by one of the most prominent expert on the field, Professor Kai-Lung Hui and was tackle the following topics:

_Key characteristics of online social media.

_Impact of online social media on consumer behaviour: Evidence.

_Challenges in assessing the benefit of online social media.

_Utilizing online social media in marketing and publicity.

For a 3rd year in a row stimulo represents the Spanish and Barcelona design at the 111th Canton Fair. From 15 to 19 April in the central area of pavilion A, Stimulo is exposing STIMULO360 design methodology to manufacturers and buyers around the world meeting in Guangzhou.

Stimulo is the first spanish Design Agency to open office in southern China. Traditionally, Guangdong province is the most powerful industrial area in China and at this stage it has to be opened to the design to add value to their products and processes.

Our stand has been thinking has a meeting point for all those interested in creativity, innovation and new product development.

Stimulo, thanks to Kriskadecor, is involved in one of  the interesting activities coming from Mater. During last January first DENEB led street light were installed in Guangzhou city. DENEB is the first model of the new LED street light technology products designed by Stimulo for AD LIGHTING company.

Stimulo participated as a speaker at last Spanish-China Trade Forum held in Foshan. The purpose of our presentation was focused on the design and branding to build a new business model base on value and differentiation.

The ceramic industry is very important by both, Chinese and Spanish companies, which allowed an interesting discussion later on related to  a new design sensibility.

The lecture and forum will have different topics, including interior design trend, how architect choose ceramic and bathroom, ceramic and bathroom marketing, and cooperation between Chinese and Spanish ceramic and bathroom enterprises under EU ceramic anti dumping.

The 3-day conference were organized by CCC and CCIH and Spanish Chamber of Commerce in China.

During an intensive day at the Fair in Hong Kong we had the opportunity to share experiences with the Catalan Lighting Cluster.

Hong Kong is a meeting place to see new technologies, networking with manufacturers and evaluate new trends. A few manufacturers start using solar energy power as a clean energy source for the next outdoor street light generation. In terms of design opens up new challenges.

These days we have been supporting AD lighting in the presentation of the new collection of lighting fixtures with LED technology for outdoor use.

In the main pavilion we also shared different experiences with FARO. They has presented various developments, especially in the segment of the outdoor light. His stand is already a reference at the fair.
