The design of Kingman is the result of years of collaboration between the industrial design and innovation team at Stimulo and the barbecue manufacturer Garth. Contact with nature brings benefits to our physical and mental health, which is why some home environments are looking to move outdoors, and the kitchen is undoubtedly one of them. The design philosophy is precisely to facilitate this transition, where sustainability is at its core, giving new life to existing barbecues and reducing waste.

NEEDS
Customize a daily-use outdoor kitchen 100% in an affordable and sustainable way.
After a research process on domestic barbecues, we identified the growing need of users to customize their outdoor kitchen as they discover the pleasure of cooking in contact with nature.
For a long time, the barbecue has been the symbol of outdoor cooking, and the Stimulo team has evolved it with advanced and designed solutions, integrating it as the central module to progressively improve its configuration. By being able to incorporate new modules such as the burner or the water sink, we give new life to existing barbecues, minimizing waste. This approach is what we call ‘Progressive Simplicity’.

Progressive Simplicity in Kingman’s outdoor kitchen reflects a modular approach towards outdoor excellence, a concept that aligns perfectly with Stimulo’s vision and working methodology. This modular approach allows users to start with basic elements and then add or modify components as their skills and needs evolve. It is an elegant and efficient solution that stands out for its initial simplicity and its potential for progressive expansion.
Start with the Basics: Simplicity begins with a central barbecue, accessible and easy to use, suitable for both beginners and outdoor cooking enthusiasts. This functional core meets the basic needs of outdoor cooking.
Modular Expansion: As users’ culinary needs and skills grow, they can add additional modules, such as expanded workspaces, extra storage, or specialized cooking equipment. This flexibility ensures that the kitchen can evolve without the need to replace the entire system.

The collaboration between Stimulo and Garth has revolutionized everyday outdoor kitchens. Utilizing our extensive experience in barbecue engineering and design, all modules are integrated, enhancing the kitchen’s capabilities, whether for cooking, grilling, washing, or cooling, focusing on the essence of what makes a great outdoor cooking experience.
Kingman is the result of intensive work on materials and processes to maintain control over production costs and a roadmap for all products in the range in such a competitive market segment.
Therefore, Stimulo’s work consisted of identifying user needs and manufacturer requirements, developing solutions, engineering, and finally accompanying its market launch, including the selection of finishes that we are confident will set a standard for barbecue enthusiasts.
