What is Agile Design?
You don’t have to be the fastest, but you do have to be the most agile.
At Stimulo, we are dedicated to designing products that increase the value of the company thanks to their originality, efficiency and experience. We use agile methodologies to manage projects efficiently and Design Thinking to boost creativity in our designs. This combination is what is known as Agile Design.
Agile Design is an innovative approach to project management and creativity in the design of innovative products and services. It is based on the idea that customer value has to be the primary goal in any project and focuses on adaptability, flexibility and collaboration to achieve it.
Agile methodology was originally developed in the field of software development, but has spread to other fields such as design, project management and business strategy. Agile design is based on the idea that the design process must be continuous and constantly evolving. Instead of following a set plan from the beginning, the design team works in iterations and adapts to changes in the market and customer needs.

Agile Design is based on four core values: individuals and their interactions, working software, collaboration with the customer and responsiveness to change. These values are translated into specific practices such as the use of sprints, teamwork, continuous feedback and adapting to change.
Agile Design also relies on methodologies such as Design Thinking and Lean Design to drive creativity and find new solutions. Design Thinking is based on empathy, experimentation and iteration to develop a user-centred design. Lean Design focuses on eliminating waste and maximising customer value.
The benefits of Agile Design in the creation of products are multiple, among them are:
Greater flexibility and adaptability: By working in iterations and constantly evolving, the design team can quickly adapt to changes in the market and customer needs.
Increased collaboration and communication: By working as a team and in close collaboration with the client, the design team can ensure that the project meets the client’s expectations.
Increased efficiency and effectiveness: By focusing on eliminating waste and maximising value for the client, the design team can ensure that the project is efficient and effective.

Increased customer satisfaction: By focusing on customer value and working closely with the customer, the design team can ensure that the project meets the customer’s needs and expectations, resulting in greater customer satisfaction.
Greater innovation: By applying methodologies such as Design Thinking and Lean Design, the design team can look for new solutions and break new ground in meeting customer needs, resulting in greater innovation.
Higher quality: By focusing on continuous feedback and adapting to changes, the design team can ensure that the project is of high quality.
In short, Agile Design is a holistic approach that combines agile project management with creative thinking and customer focus to design innovative, high quality products and services that increase business value. Stimulo applies it to deliver unique and effective solutions to its customers’ needs, and achieve greater customer satisfaction and value.
